OVHcloud to add the Quobly quantum computer to its cloud platform

OVHcloud has announced an expansion of its Quantum Platform. By the end of 2026, Alloy Pioneer — the first commercially available Quobly quantum computer based on silicon spin qubits — is set to appear in the company's sovereign cloud.

The Quobly technology uses 300-mm FD-SOI wafers, the industry standard for semiconductor manufacturing. The company expects that this approach will help scale quantum computing and maintain compatibility with the existing computing infrastructure.
